Mystic Chamber of Commerce elects new officers, directors
Mystic — Bruce Flax, a Foxwoods Resort Casino executive and former Groton Town mayor, will serve as chairman of the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce’s board of directors in 2020, the chamber announced.
Joining Flax, Foxwoods’ director of ticket operations and entertainment marketing, are Shannon McKenzie, director of watercraft programs at Mystic Seaport Museum, who will serve as secretary of the board; and Amanda Arling, president of The Whaler’s Inn and The Shipwright’s
Daughter and co-chair of the annual Mystic Outdoor Art Festival, who will be treasurer.
Chris Regan of Olde Mistick Village and Regan Enterprises has been reelected to a second term as vice chairman. Regan also chairs the Mystic Chamber Foundation.
Three new directors also were elected during the chamber’s annual meeting: Annemarie Seifert, director of the University of Connecticut campus at Avery Point; Shaun Mastroianni, regional executive director specialist at Benchmark Senior Living; and Sal Ritacco of Ritacco Law.
