-

Wyoming, R.I. — Raymond Paul Pelletier, 75, of Wyoming, R.I., passed Monday, May 4, 2020, at South County Hospital in Wakefield, R.I. He was the loving husband of the late Elaine Ann (Dziadosz) Pelletier and together they shared 50 years of marriage. Born March 15, 1945, in Lowell, Mass., he was the son of the late Georges E. and Florida (LaFontaine) Pelletier.

Through a chance encounter on a blind date, Elaine met the love of her life, Ray, while they were living in Lowell, Mass. They married and ended up moving to Rhode Island after Ray received a job offer at Electric Boat. Together they enjoyed spending their days in the sun at Beavertail in Jamestown, R.I. and when they had the chance, they would travel to visit their daughter and grandchildren. Raymond loved the outdoors along with wildlife and all animals in general. He was a vintage car enthusiast and on a nice day out, you could see him driving his Plum Crazy 1967 Dodge Dart saying hello to all. He had beautiful blue eyes that matched his kind and peaceful soul. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He leaves behind his daughter Amy Pelletier Clark and her husband Peter from Rhinebeck, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Oscar and Forest.

Due to the current circumstances surrounding COVID-19, committal services will be held privately by the family. S.R. Avery Funeral Home, 3A Bank St., Hope Valley, R.I. is assisting the family with arrangements.
