Old Lyme — Six different players scored goals as Old Lyme remained unbeaten with a 6- 1 victory over Coginchaug in a Shoreline Conference boys' soccer match on Thursday.
Anders Silberberg, Avery Welch and Luke Celic each had a goal and an assist for the Wildcats (4-0-1) while Tim O'Brien, Jesper Silberberg and David Evers had one goal apiece.
Old Lyme goalkeeper Jonah Lathrop made eight saves.

• Dylan Lucey headed home a pass from Drew Archer in sudden death overtime to lift Lyman Memorial to a dramatic 3-2 victory over Fitch on Wednesday night. The Bulldogs (13) forced sudden death when Archer scored a goal with just two minutes, 25 seconds left in regulation to tie the match.
Archer's goal came just 1:06 after Timothy Lunch scored for the Falcons (2-3) to break a 1-1 tie. Daylon Griffin, assisted by Lucey, gave Lyman a 1-0 lead in the first half before Aiden McLean tied it for Fitch in the second half. Zach Merritt made eight saves in goal for Lyman while Fitch's Alex Bacchiocchi made four saves.
Boys' cross country
• Aiden Powers won individual honors in 19:17 as Old Lyme swept a tri-meet from host North Branford and Valley Regional. The Wildcats defeated Valley 34- 49 and earned a 1550 forfeit win over North Branford, which didn't field a full team. John Almy finished third for Old Lyme in 19:37 and Reese Maguire was seventh in 21:08.
Volleyball
• Coginchaug outlasted Old Lyme 3-1 in a Shoreline Conference match. Game scores were 25-22, 20-25, 2521 and 25-16. Abby Speckhals had 21 assists for the Wildcats (2-3) while Abby Sicuranza added 10 kills and
Melanie Warren had 21 digs.
Field hockey
• Stonington built a 4-0 lead during
on a dominating first half and the Bears went on to defeat Woodstock Academy 5- 0 in the Eastern Connecticut Conference.
Hannah Nulick had two goals and an assist for the Bears ( 5- 0) while Teagan O'Brien, Olivia Monte and Sandy McGugan each scored a goal,
Dillon Griscom and Ellie Korinek had one assist apiece and goalie Avery Slocum made one save to earn the shutout.
