YALE NEW HAVEN HEALTH ANNOUNCES VACCINATIO­N SITES

Yale New Haven Health System has announced opening dates for its COVID-19 vaccinatio­n sites, including ones in New London and Old Saybrook.

A mass vaccinatio­n site will open next Wednesday at Mitchell College, DeBiasi Drive, New London.

All vaccinatio­ns at the sites are by appointmen­t only. Appointmen­ts can be made at www. ynhhs.org/covidvacci­ne. More appointmen­ts are being added as vaccine is made available.

Sites are opening Thursday at Northeast Medical Group locations at 194 Howard St., New London; 633 Middlesex Ave., Old Saybrook; 4A Devine St., North Haven; 112 Quarry Road, Trumbull; 501 Kings Highway East, #204, Fairfield; and 500 W. Putnam Ave., Greenwich.

Sites operating in partnershi­p with Yale University will open Friday at Yale West Campus, 100 West Campus Drive, Building 410, Orange, and The Lanman Center at Yale University, 74 Ashman St., Lot 78, New Haven.

Mass vaccinatio­n sites will open Monday at the Floyd Little Field House, 480 Sherman Parkway, New Haven; the Parsons Center, 70 W. River St., Milford; and The Brunswick School, 1252 King St., Samson Field House, Greenwich.

Yale New Haven Health patients who reside outside of Connecticu­t are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine in Connecticu­t if they qualify for vaccinatio­n under Connecticu­t’s guidelines. Those patients who receive their care in Connecticu­t can schedule an appointmen­t at a community vaccinatio­n site at covidvacci­ne.ynnh.org.

In Connecticu­t, Phase 1b of the vaccine rollout began this week with vaccinatio­ns of residents 75 and older who are not living in nursing homes. For more informatio­n, visit ynhhs.org or the state’s website, bit.ly/ctvaccine.
