Bozrah — Diane J. Quinn, 84, of Bozrah passed away peacefully Nov. 11, 2021. She had recently moved from Lakeland, Fla., to be closer to family. Diane was born July 10, 1937, in Newark, N.J., the daughter of Paul Bourdon and Clara (Hahn) Bourdon.

She was raised in Connecticu­t, and on Sept. 5, 1953, married Richard G. Quinn, who predecease­d her Feb. 22, 2021. They raised five children; then moved to California, in 1978. After her retirement from Boeing Company, she and her husband relocated to Lakeland, Fla., in 2001, where they spent the next 20 years. Diane was a member of Crestview Baptist Church in Lakeland, and a member of the Gideons Women’s Auxiliary. She was a big fan of the Red Sox and UConn basketball.

She is survived by her children: Kathy Quinn Daley (Ray Gallagher) of Uncasville, Richard Quinn (Eileen) of Las Vegas, Nev., Patrick Quinn of Overland Park, Kan., Therese Quinn Wilson (Jim) of Norwich, and Christine Quinn

Chavez (Ron) of Henderson, Nev.; ten grandchild­ren: Cindy Kristoff (Jesse), Tara

Quinn, Keri Rende (Brandon), Richard Quinn III, Elysa Quinn, Katie Wilson, Emily Moure (Geo), Nate Wilson, Hannah Quinn and Olivia Quinn. She was “Great-Grandma” to Meri, Ava, Bradley, Emmett, Adrian, Levi and Mia. She is also survived by a sister, Elizabeth Brodeur of Waterford; a sister-in-law, Alice Quinn of Lakeland, Fla.; and a lifelong friend since kindergart­en Mikki Nugaris of Lake Hopatcong, N.J.; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predecease­d by her husband; sisters, Mary Morelli, Lorraine Bronson and Valerie Lyon; brothers, Gerry Bourdon and Kenny Hedges; brother-in-law Jim Quinn; sister-in-law Joan Wilkenson; and son-in-law Bill Daley.

A memorial service will be held at a later time in Lakeland, Fla. Donations, if desired, can be made to the charity of one’s choice. Diane was especially fond of Food Pantry, Alzheimer’s Associatio­n and Hospice.
