Las Vegas, Nev. — Lee Richard Ferris entered eternal life Sept. 17, 2022, at Henderson Horizon Hospital, Las Vegas, Nev., after a long battle from a fractured hip, multiple strokes, COVID, several bouts of pneumonia, and a multitude of infections.

Lee and his wife Teresita “Tess” moved from Quaker Hill to Las Vegas, Nev., in 2020. She passed away Aug. 25, 2021, a short 2 weeks after contracting COVID. Tess had been attending to Lee’s needs in the hospital at the time when she got the virus.

Lee was a Navy veteran during the Cuban crisis. After being honorably discharged he found employment at Pfizer’s and retired after 30 years. In his younger days he was an avid bowler and was one of the premier bowlers on the Pfizer town team, of which he was very proud. He was also a lifelong Yankees fan.

Lee was one of 10 siblings born to Eli J. and Esther (Clark) Ferris. Lee leaves behind two sons, Lee Jr. and Douglas; along with two sisters, Marlein and Viola; four brothers, Roger, Gary, Ronald and Scott. He was predeceased by two sisters, Emma and Mary; and one brother Lonnie. Lee also leaves behind his extended family naming a few, Beth, Estela, Rose, and many others in Boston, Mass., and Hawaii.

A special heartfelt, grateful thanks to Rose and Estela for being there at his bedside in Lee’s final hours of life here on earth. After cremation in Las Vegas his remains will be transported to Boston, Mass., where they will be placed alongside his loving wife, at which some point in the future will be transported to the Philippines where they will be laid to rest in Tess’s family burial plot.
