He was the proud owner of Waterford Country Gardens, LLC. Karlton met his soulmate Robin in 1985, they have been happily married since September of 1989.

Of all his accomplishments, his family was his most cherished. Karlton was a quiet and reserved man, but within the walls of his home he created endless laughter with his quick wit and incredible charm. The love that he had for his family had no bounds, he prided himself in everything they did. Karlton lived a life most people don’t often get; The love his wife showered him in, the serendipity of their never-ending romance, and the immense showmanship of his most precious marriage. He had a true passion for nature and was an avid hunter. Many trips out west were spent chasing elk with close friends. Karlton was inducted into the Waterford Hall of Fame for his many achievements in wrestling, football and track and field.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please consider donating to the Karlton Perkins Memorial Scholarship Fund via Waterford High School, 20 Rope Ferry Rd, Waterford CT. 06385.

A private celebration of life will be planned for a later date. The family thanks you for the outpouring of love during this time.
