New London Arts Council hosts Open Studios and Art Stroll

-

New London Arts Council will host an Open Studios and Art Stroll in partnership with Downtown New London Association’s Pirate Fest on Aug. 19.

Artist studios and select downtown venues will be open from 1 to 8 p.m. for visitors to stop by, watch artists work, see exhibits and purchase art. The event is free. For upto-date information on artists, venues and activities, visit NewLondonArtsCouncil.org.

The New London Arts Council encourages and serves New London’s arts community. The Open Studios and Art Stroll evolved from a strategic planning session and is one of NLAC’s first big events, post-COVID. The event is designed to allow artists with studios to open their doors, while artists who don’t have a studio suitable for the public will be hosted at a downtown venue.
