NFL reporter Cameron Wolfe analyzes five inside linebackers who could be selected by the Broncos during the three-day NFL draft this week: Su’a Cravens, USC A ’tweener who will probably have to bulk up to stick as an inside linebacker, he has the tackling and coverage skills to succeed. Projected round: Second Dominique Alexander, Oklahoma Great coverage linebacker. He had trouble shedding blocks in college. He can move sideline to sideline but will need to be better against the run. Projected round: Third Jaylon Smith, Notre Dame Everything about Smith depends on his knee injury. His torn ACL and MCL are expected to heal, but nerve damage is unpredictable. If healthy, he’s an impact starter. Projected round: Third or fourth B.J. Goodson, Clemson The Tigers’ talented defense forced a lot of plays (and stats) his way. Better against the run than the pass. Broncos had him in for a predraft visit. Projected round: Fourth Elandon Roberts, Houston He led FBS in solo tackles. Probably limited to being a two-down and special-teams player because of his struggles in pass coverage. Projected round: Sixth or seventh
