Ocean Prime, Jing, Old Major, Rioja, TAG and Bar Dough were among the 11 restaurant­s that chef Troy Guard lined up to participat­e in the fifth annual Fill A Plate for Hunger, presented by Denver Union Station. Beverages came from Woody Creek Distillers, Great Divide Brewing Co. and Southern Wine and Spirits.

Preblud and Jeremy Bronson, president of the We Don’t Waste board, gave special thanks to Guard and the honorary chairmen: Dana Crawford; Jeff Hermanson; Walter and Christie Isenberg; Ferd and Christy Belz; Chad McWhinney; Joe and Dr. Mary Vostrejs; Pat McHenry and Rod Wagner.

Board member Jackson Lamb, a chef and assistant professor of hospitalit­y at Metropolit­an State University of Denver, presided over the live auction and special appeal; his efforts help push the evening’s proceeds past the $200,000 mark.

Josephine Sinclair, Radhika Black and Andrea Kirchhoff were among the Fill A Plate For Hunger committee members attending the fundraiser. Other guests included Jeff Hermanson, chief executive officer of Larimer Associates; Bennie Milliner, a community liaison officer for U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet; Gail and Martin Berliner; interior designers Marc Roth and James Pfister; couturier Brooks Luby and her husband, Chester; CBS4 news anchor Jim Benemann, the event’s master of ceremonies; and Preblud’s wife, Leigh Sinclair.
