GoPro’ plunge

-

GoPro, the maker of wearable cameras made for athletes and thrill seekers, might need to go into physical therapy. The company announced layoffs this week, cutting 200 positions, and the company’s President Tony Bates will be leaving at the end of the year. The company, which has never been profitable, continues to struggle. While popular among people who skydive, surf and do other high-intensity activities, GoPro has never made much headway into selling its products to more mainstream customers.
