HOWARD SCORES 27 AS HAWKS END RAPTORS’ 4-GAME WINNING STREAK

toronto»Dwight Howard had 27 points and 15 rebounds, Dennis Schroder scored 24 points and the Hawks beat Toronto 125-121 Friday night to snap the Raptors’ four-game win streak.

Kyle Korver had a season-high 19 points, including a seasonhigh six 3-pointers for Atlanta. Howard’s double-double was his 17th of the season.

DeMar DeRozan had 34 points for the Raptors, while Kyle Lowry added 27.

James Harden had his sixth triple-double of the season and the Rockets made an NBA-record 24 3-pointers in a 122-100 win over the Pelicans. Harden had 29 points, 13 assists and 11 rebounds for his 15th career triple-double, passing Hakeem Olajuwon for the most in franchise history. … Nikola Vucevic had 21 points and 10 rebounds, Evan Fournier also scored 21 and the Magic defeated the Nets 118-111. Fournier scored 11 straight points in the final 2:26, going 8 for 8 from the free throw line after the teams were tied at 106. … John Wall had 29 points and 11 assists, leading a Wizards offense that committed a season-low five turnovers in a 122-108 victory over the Pistons. Bradley Beal added 25 points and Marcin Gortat had 12 to go with 14 rebounds for Washington. … Giannis Antetokoun­mpo had 22 points, 11 assists and seven rebounds, and the Bucks routed the Bulls 95-69 for a sweep of their home-and-home series. The Bucks had six players score in double figures and shot 46 percent from the field. … Isaiah Thomas scored 16 of his 26 points in the second half and Al Horford had 18 points and five blocked shots as the Celtics beat the Hornets 96-88. … Julius Randle scored nine of his 25 points in a dominating first quarter and the Lakers snapped an eightgame losing streak with a 100-89 victory over the 76ers. Lou Williams added 18 points and D’Angelo Russell and Nick Young had 15 points apiece for the Lakers. … Blake Griffin scored 20 points, Chris Paul and J.J. Redick each added 17 and the Clippers held on to beat the Heat 102-98. DeAndre Jordan had an offensive rebound off a missed free throw and scored the clincher with 7.7 seconds left for the Clippers, finishing off his 12-point, 19-rebound night. … Kosta Koufos had 16 points and 13 rebounds to help the Kings hold off the Grizzlies, 96-92.
