Denver’s Breakfast Burrito of Champions moves into round 2 voting
With just short of 10,000 votes cast (WHAT?!), the first round of breakfast burrito March Madness was full of surprises. We lost three No. 2 seeds (Araujo’s Restaurant, Taco Wagon and Pete’s Kitchen), and the battle between Big Mama’s Burritos and The Original Chubby’s was neck-in-neck to the very end, when Chubby’s pulled into the lead at the last second.
Now that the Sweet 16 field has been set, who’s got what it takes to go the distance? Does Bonfire Burritos have the stamina to fend off La Fuente? Will Chubby’s be able to pull out another win against The Burrito Company or will the No. 1 seed fall?
