MARK REDWINE WON’T FIGHT EXTRADITION
Mark Redwine, a suspect in the disappearance and death of his 13-year-old son, Dylan, waived on Tuesday his right to extradition hearings in Washington state and will be returned to Colorado.
Redwine was arrested July 22 in Bellingham, Wash., after a La Plata County grand jury issued an indictment for second-degree murder and child abuse resulting in death. Redwine, a crosscountry trucker, was named a person of interest in the case nearly two years ago.
“He will be returning to Colorado posthaste,” La Plata County sheriff’s spokeswoman Megan Graham said.
Dylan disappeared in November 2012 while visiting his father’s home in Vallecito. In 2013, some of the boy’s remains were discovered about 8 miles from Mark Redwine’s home.
