WORKPLACE
ee to do so. Nominations also are taken by phone at 303-2618253.
The deadline is Oct. 20. Companies will be surveyed during September through November. Workplacedynamics, the research partner for the project, conducts Top Workplaces surveys for more than 40 major metro newspapers and surveyed 2.8 million employees at nearly 7,000 organizations in 2016.
The survey seeks responses in seven areas:
• Alignment — where the company is headed, its values, cooperation.
• Effectiveness — doing things well, sharing different viewpoints, encouraging new ideas.
• Connection — employees feel appreciated, their work is meaningful.
• My manager — cares about concerns, helps learn and grow.
• Employee engagement — loyalty, motivation and referral.
• Leader — confidence in company leadership.
• The basics — pay, benefits, flexibility.
Publication of the winners will come in spring 2018, in a special section in The Post and online. There are winners in large, medium and small categories, and many employers are recognized.
