Colorado brokerage emphasizes creative micro branding for its agents; LIV Sotheby’s International Realty launches agent film series

Colorado real estate firm LIV Sotheby’s International Realty is pleased to announce the completion of its first round of agent films, a series of short films about agents within the brokerage, meant to diversify the way the public sees real estate agents by providing a window into an agent’s life and personality. Through its high-quality short film series, LIV Sotheby’s International Realty (LIV SIR) has launched a unique initiative to create a personal connection between agents and clients.

“Our business is all about our people,” said LIV Sotheby’s International Realty President Scott Webber. “Today, information about real estate is available at your fingertips, but for us, human interaction is at the forefront of thought for LIV Sotheby’s International Realty. Every home has a story and so do our agents. To us, buying or selling a home requires human interaction and these films embody that sentiment.”

LIV SIR partnered with Evoker, Inc., a Chicago-based multimedia branding agency, to create the agent films. The studio-quality films are generally less than two minutes long and enable potential homebuyers and sellers to “meet” the agents and executives, learning who they are — their passions, expertise, market knowledge, unique attributes — to decide which agent is the perfect match to meet their real estate needs.

The films eliminate the corporate, mass-produced structure of a standard biography video, allowing brokers to tell their personal story, whether it entails mountain biking in the Colorado Rockies, interacting with family or playing a round of golf. There is no script, no storyboard and no two films are ever the same.

Each agent film is created with a cinematic approach. Evoker producers meet with brokers during two consultation visits prior to filming, helping to streamline the production process, which usually takes about one day. Not only is the personal story of each agent captured, but additional footage, including the areas the broker services, is artistically weaved into the films by the cinematic director, creating beautiful and emotion-evoking results.

“We try to diversify the way the public sees agents,” said Webber. “LIV Sotheby’s International Realty is the leading luxury real estate firm in the Colorado and Denver property market. We have a very interesting group of agents and we are really happy with the results of the films of those who signed up for the project.”

Out of LIV SIR’S 350+ agents, 20 agents signed up for the first round of the lifestyle-inspired films. To debut the films, a “Red Carpet” film premiere event took place on Aug. 31 in Denver. To view the LIV SIR agent films, please visit agentfilms.livsothebysrealty.com.
