Jewel brings holiday jingles to Denver

Singer-songwriter Jewel is hitting the road for a holiday concert series, including a show at the Paramount Theatre on Nov. 25. Fans will have a chance to make hand-made gifts at a special pre-show workshop, and Jewel will offer up 25 seats to those in need. Tickets are on sale now. ($39.50-$59.50, altitudeti­ckets.com)

Red Rocks Amphitheat­re’s concert season seems to get bigger every year. Case in point: It’s already fall, but fringe rapper Russ announced a headlining show at the venue for Oct. 27. That’s Halloween weekend, so expect a rowdy costume party on the Rocks. Tickets are on sale now. ($49.50-$85, axs.com)

Nashville, Tenn., is typically known for its country music cene, but the emo-rock five-piece Free Throw is about as far away from home-on-the-range as it gets. Still, for the younger city-set whose dog ran away, their concerts make an equally worthy outlet. The band plays the Moon Room on Nov. 20. English new-wavers Orchestra Manoeuvres in the Dark just released its 13th album, “The Punishment of Luxury,” earlier this month, and now it’s going on a North American tour. The group comes to Denver’s O gden Theatre on March 20, 2018. Tickets are on sale now. ($30-$35, axs.com)

You know how people spend most of their time on the internet, and most of that time watching cat videos? Now you can share your love of cat pratfalls with strangers, too.
