Amazon’s second headquarters and Denver’s diminishing quality of life
It is ironic that Colorado is touting the quality of life in the Denver metroplex as a major incentive for Amazon to locate here. The quality of life in Denver has been diminishing for at least a decade due to overcrowding. Interstate 70 traffic has be- come prohibitive. Trail heads and parks are becoming mob scenes. What used to be open space is wall-towall housing. If the public gets a say in the Amazon deal or Olympic hosting, I will be voting no.
