SWEPT UP IN ART

Jared Anderson, left, and Kalindi DeFrancis, both with JDP Art, on Thursday sweep away leaves to tidy up the site of a work recently created by London-based artist Shantell Martin outside the Colorado Convention Center in Denver. Martin, selected from a group of 75 artists, used black and white spray paint to create her yet-untitled work, which appears on the sidewalks and pathways outside the convention center. The work is sponsored by the Denver Theatre District in conjunction with the arts organization NINE dot ARTS.
