The Denver Post
Broadway’s first spooky parade
SATURDAY. One of central Denver’s most popular streets is ready to have its day (or night) in the spooky spotlight. South Broadway will host its first Halloween Parade on Oct. 21 at 6 p.m. from East 3rd to Alameda avenues. The event will feature floats, bands, marchers and a whole lot of costumes. Dress up in Halloween attire, because after the parade everyone will march in the street. Public transit to the parade is highly recommend. Parade entrants include Badda Boom Brass Band, bringing New Orleans sound to Broadway; Blue Bonnet Restaurant, handing out candy and freebees south of the route; and Denver Roller Derby, rolling through town.
