For the record: Cincinnati has lost two in a row, the latest a 24-20 defeat Sunday at Tennessee. The Bengals took the lead with five minutes left on a 70-yard touchdown pass from Andy Dalton to A.J. Green, only to watch the defense yield a game-winning TD drive led by Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota. The loss dropped the Bengals to 1-4 on the road.

Who’s hot: Green. The wide receiver was ejected for fighting in Cincinnati’s previous game, a 23-7 loss to the Jaguars. Against the Titans, Green had five catches for 115 yards. The big game leaves Green on pace for the sixth 1,000-yard season of his seven-year career.

What’s not: Third-down offense. The Bengals were 1-of-10 on third down in their loss to the Titans. That’s par for the course for a team that has converted only 31.1 percent of its third-down attempts this season. Only the Dolphins and Browns are worse on third down.

Key stat: 0. The number of playoff victories for the Bengals since 1990. Cincinnati made the playoffs every year from 2011 to 2015. Barring a turnaround after their 3-6 start, the Bengals will miss the playoffs for a second consecutive season.

FYI: Vontaze Burfict was ejected from Sunday’s game after making contact with an official. Burfict, the oft-flagged Bengals linebacker, had drawn a personal-foul penalty earlier in the game, his first 15-yard foul of the season. Burfict will not be suspended for Sunday’s game, the NFL said Monday. Streaking: Dalton is 1-3 in four career games against the Broncos. He has been sacked 11 times and has an 89.1 quarterback rating in those games. The Bengals have won just once in their last five games against the Broncos.
