TAKE A PHOTO: Here are the most Instagrammed places in Colorado
Rest easy, Red Rocks. You’re still the most Instagrammed place in Colorado.
That’s according to data recently released by the photosharing site, which again found that the legendary venue — which has been hosting notable concerts for more than 75 years, and has been around for more than 100 — remains the spot with the most geotagged mentions.
The rest of the top five aren’t too surprising, given that they’re Denver-area tourism and event magnets:
1. Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre
2. Rocky Mountain National Park
3. Garden of the Gods Park 4. Coors Field
5. Pepsi Center However, the list represents a shake-up from last year, when Denver International Airport came in second (it wasn’t even in the top five this year). By contrast, Garden of the Gods — which came in third this year — wasn’t even on last year’s list:
1. Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre
2. Denver International Airport
3. Rocky Mountain National Park
4. Coors Field
5. Pepsi Center
The new rankings are part of Instagram’s year-end Global Data report, which also highlights the most-liked posts of the year (a Beyoncé baby announcement, with more than 11 million likes), 2017’s top hashtags (#love), most Instagrammed locations overall (Anaheim, Calif.’s Disneyland) and the most-followed celebrities (Selena Gomez, with more than 130 million followers).
