NFL Briefs BENGALS GET GLENN, SWAP WITH BILLS

The Bengals agreed to a trade with the Bills for left offensive tackle Cordy Glenn.

The Bengals and Bills agreed to swap first-round picks, with Buffalo receiving the No. 12 overall selection and Cincinnati getting the No. 21 pick.

The Bengals also get the Bills’ fifth-round pick (No. 158), and the Bills get the Bengals’ sixth-round pick (187th).

The Bills now own the 12th and 22nd selections in the first round, as well as two second-round picks (Nos. 53 and 56) and two third-round picks (Nos. 65 and 96).

Suh, Timmons gone.

The Dolphins are planning to release defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh.

The team also released veteran linebacker Lawrence Timmons, who signed with the team last offseason.

Raiders release Smith.

CALIF.» The Raiders ALAMEDA, released Sean Smith amid news that the cornerback will plead guilty to a felony assault charge Tuesday and be sentenced to one year in prison.

The Raiders also released starting offensive tackle Marshall Newhouse.

Smith’s legal issues stem from an incident with his sister’s boyfriend last summer in Pasadena, Calif. Smith agreed to plead guilty to a felony charge of assault with great bodily injury and will be sentenced to one year in prison and three years of probation, the attorney for the alleged victim confirmed to The Associated Press.

Two witnesses testified during a preliminar­y hearing in December that Smith stomped Woods’ head as he lay bleeding and unconsciou­s.

Two Chiefs depart.

Starting safety Ron Parker and linebacker Tamba Hali were released by the Chiefs.

Parker was asked to take a pay cut and declined.

Hali had 3½ sacks in 2016 and none in 2017 after becoming a part-time player.
