WYOMING QB WILL ATTEND DRAFT APRIL 26

TEXAS» Six ARLINGTON, first-team All-Americans, including Penn State running back Saquon Barkley and North Carolina State defensive end Bradley Chubb, are among the 22 players who will attend the NFL draft this month.

Four of the highly rated quarterbac­ks in this crop also will be at the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium — Josh Allen of Wyoming, Sam Darnold of Southern California, Lamar Jackson of Louisville and Josh Rosen of UCLA. Heisman Trophy winner Baker Mayfield of Oklahoma has decided not to attend.

Barkley and Chubb are projected to go in the top five picks.

The other AP All-Americans planning to be on hand April 26 are Alabama safety Minkah Fitzpatric­k, Iowa cornerback Josh Jackson, Georgia linebacker Roquan Smith and Ohio State cornerback Denzel Ward.

Also attending will be Central Florida linebacker Shaquem Griffin. The American Athletic Conference defensive player of the year had to have his left hand amputated when he was 4 years old. He helped the Knights go 13-0 last season.

Vikings acquire WR King.

MINN.» The Vikings EAGAN, signed wide receiver Tavarres King.

King joins the Vikings after spending the 2015-17 seasons with the New York Giants. He also has previous stops with the Broncos, Panthers, Buccaneers and Jaguars.

The former Georgia player was a fifth-round draft pick (161st overall) by the Broncos in 2013.

He made his NFL debut in 2014 with Tampa Bay, appearing in two games.

Steelers’ Ridley, Hunter are staying put.

Running back Stevan Ridley and wide receiver Justin Hunter are sticking with the Steelers.

Each player signed a one-year contract to remain with the two-time defending AFC North champions in 2018.

Neither has thrown a pass in the NFL. … The Giants signed durable cornerback William Gay, a Steelers draft pick in 2007. He played in 176 consecutiv­e regular-season and 15 postseason games through the end of the 2017 season. … The Jets re-signed offensive tackle Ben Ijalana, who has been a backup with the team. … Mike McCartney, the agent for fullback Zach Line and linebacker Michael Mauti, said the veteran free agents reached contract agreements to return to the Saints. McCartney said Line accepted a two-year deal, while Mauti’s contract runs through the 2018 season.
