1ST APPEARANCE TOGETHER

The former Meghan Markle, left, on Thursday makes her first joint appearance with Queen Elizabeth II in observing a minute of silence at midday to honor the victims of the Grenfell Tower fire on the first anniversary of the deadly blaze in London. In addition to Thursday’s somber commemoration, the day was filled with smiles and cheers as the 92-year-old monarch and the duchess of Sussex, as Markle is now known, attended events in Widnes and Chester.
