CAT FOOD, LITTER COMPANY LEAVING FOR WYOMING

CHEYENNE» A cat food and litter manufacturer plans to move to Wyoming from Colorado.

The Wyoming Tribune Eagle reported that Precious Cat Inc., based in Englewood, announced plans to relocate Dr. Elsey’s Precious Cat Products to the Swan Ranch Business Park in Cheyenne by 2019.

The company will build a 150,000-square-foot facility and expects to hire 20 to 30 local employees. Construction is expected to begin by the end of this year.

The move will provide land for rail service and more space than is available at the company’s current location, as well as the availability of Wyoming’s high-quality bentonite, an absorbent clay used as the litter’s main ingredient.
