Friday’s column especially challenges Americans to question what it means to allow undocumented persons into the U.S. based upon loosely enforced regulations. The fact that 800,000 persons are awaiting immigration court decisions is staggering.

It also demonstrates how necessary it is for Congress to address this issue.
