PARENTS OF SHANANN WATTS SPEAK TO ABC’S “20/20”
Shanann Watts was living happily before her husband murdered her and her two young daughters, her parents told a national television program.
“She was extremely happy,” Frank Rzucek said.
The first interview with Shanann Watts’ parents since the Aug. 13 murders of their daughter and two granddaughters will air at 8 p.m. Friday on ABC’s “20/20.” The show also features interviews with Shanann Watts’ friends and law enforcement, the network said.
Christopher Watts, Shanann’s husband, was sentenced last month to life in prison for the murders of his pregnant wife and two daughters, 3-year-old Celeste and 4-year-old Bella.
Shanann Watts would do anything for her daughters, her parents told ABC.
“She was fun. Full of life,” Sandra Rzucek said. “She did so many things. She had her hand in everything.”
