LetvotersresolveTABOR/ Gallagher conflict

- Re: Dave Usechek,

Common sense tells you there is conflict between the Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights and Gallagher. It was a voter demand to take away politicians from increasing our taxes without voter approval. Recently it has been suggested that the issue be solved through either the courts or political influence.

Since voters have spoken, I find it distasteful to let a select few change what voters demanded. Would not common sense be for these powers to come up with possible solutions and then let voters decide which direction should be taken in resolving this issue that impacts not only taxing districts but voter’s pockets? Don’t let a select few change our future.
