Rackstarz retailer coming to Boulder

-

Rackstarz, a retailer of vehicle racks, hitch systems and accessories, will open a new store in Boulder on Friday at 3600 Arapahoe Ave., Unit B. That day happens to be the birthday of Nick Bullion, owner and founder of the company, said Jackson Thom, Rackstarz marketing manager. The company opened its first store last May in Colorado Springs.

Rackstarz will be occupying the space previously used by Boulder Nordic Sport. From Friday through Jan. 25, the store will offer 20 percent discount on merchandise to mark its grand opening.

“We are continuing to grow and looking to hire installation technicians and sales specialists familiar with the outdoor industry,” Thom said.

Rackstarz will carry brands such as Thule, Yakima, Rhino-rack, Tepui, Kuat Racks, Curt Manufacturing, Inno Advanced Car Racks, Ecohitch, Tracrac, Roadshower, Riversmith and Rockymounts at its new 3,000-square-foot store, he said. — Daily Camera
