In defense of TABOR
Recently I have read several articles about how TABOR should be “fixed.” The Taxpayers Bill of Rights requires a vote in order to raise taxes. It has been the law in Colorado for 26 years and has been instrumental in keeping our taxes relatively low while requiring fiscal accountability in government.
It is also a major obstacle to the massive tax increases necessary to realize Gov. Jared Polis’ huge government agenda.
