CU raises minimum salary for instructor­s.

BOULDER» University of Colorado officials have raised the minimum salary for instructor­s and senior instructor­s, effective Feb. 1.

Chancellor Phil Distefano announced the raises Thursday at the monthly Boulder Faculty Assembly meeting.

“We wanted to make sure that (Boulder Faculty Assembly) hear about it first because it’s been such a high priority,” Distefano said.

Instructor­s are among nontenure track faculty. The campus raised the minimum from $40,000 to $52,000 for instructor­s and $60,000 for senior instructor­s.
