ROCKIES WILL HAVE 150 OF 162 GAMES SHOWN ON LOCAL TV

The Rockies announced their 2019 TV schedule Tuesday, with AT&T SportsNet set to air 150 regular-season games, in addition to six spring training games.

That means all but a dozen of Colorado’s meaningful games will be on local TV.

The exceptions are April 7 (against the Dodgers on ESPN), May 2 (Milwaukee), May 23 (Pittsburgh), May 30 (Arizona), June 8 (Mets), June 20 (Arizona), June 22 (Dodgers), June 26 (San Francisco), June 29 (Dodgers), July 17 (San Francisco), August 21 (Arizona) and September 18 (Mets).

Wyoming’s Granderson charged for sexual battery.

LARAMIE» Court documents show the sexual assault and sexual battery charges filed last week against former Wyoming defensive end Carl Granderson involve two women.

According to an affidavit filed in Albany County Circuit Court, Granderson made unwanted sexual contact with the students while they slept at an off-campus apartment in November.

The Casper Star-Tribune reports that it obtained the affidavit through a public records request.

Granderson hasn’t entered a plea. The law firm representi­ng him did not respond to calls seeking comment.

Granderson recorded 35½ tackles for loss and 17½ sacks during his college career at Wyoming and was named to the all-Mountain West second team at end of last season.

He played in the Senior Bowl and was invited to the NFL scouting combine before the draft.

Cowboys basketball player pleads not guilty.

LARAMIE» A suspended Wyoming basketball player Ny Redding has pleaded not guilty to assault and battery charges.

The Casper Star-Tribune reports that Redding entered the plea last Friday in Albany County Circuit Court to two counts of simple assault and one count of battery through his attorneys.

Redding also requested that his initial court appearance set for Thursday be vacated and a scheduling conference be set for Feb. 21 prior to the case being scheduled for a jury trial.

Court documents say the charges stem from a December incident at a Laramie bar in which Redding is accused of striking a female student, leaving her unconsciou­s, and swinging at a another female student, hitting her in the nose.

The senior point guard was suspended indefinite­ly on Dec. 12.

English legend Banks dies at 81.

LONDON» Gordon Banks, the World Cup-winning England goalkeeper who was also known for blocking a header from Pele that many consider to be the greatest save in soccer history, has died. He was 81.

No cause of death was given. Known for his reflexes, Banks was one of English soccer’s most revered players after helping the team win the 1966 World Cup on home soil. He conceded only one goal in five games before England beat West Germany 4-2 in the final at Wembley Stadium.

Four years later at the next World Cup in Mexico, Banks scurried across his line and dived to his right to stop a downward header from Pele, who recalled he was already shouting “Goal!” when he headed the ball.

Posada joins Jeter with Marlins.

MIAMI» Jorge Posada and Derek Jeter are teammates again.

Posada will join the Miami Marlins’ front office as a special adviser to Jeter, said to a person with knowledge of the negotiatio­ns.

Jeter is entering his second season as the Marlins’ CEO.

Like Jeter, Posada spent his entire playing career with the Yankees, for whom he batted .273 with 275 home runs and 1,065 RBIs in parts of 17 seasons.
