Ten things from the Senior Bowl on Wednesday:

1. Broncos defensive lineman Shelby Harris, in line for the first (and probably final) big payday of his career, has switched representation to Drew Rosenhaus. Last month, cornerback Chris Harris switched from Fred Lyles to Chafie Fields. This won’t complicate the negotiations inasmuch as it’s interesting.

2. Was there a disconnect between coach Vic Fangio and recently-fired offensive coordinator Rich Scangarello? “You’ll have to ask Vic on that,” general manager John Elway said. “Obviously, our numbers weren’t very good. It got better when Drew (Lock) got in there. It was a combination of a lot of different things. I don’t know if there was a feel there that (things) could go any further.”

3. Elway said the Broncos’ front office and coaching staff will begin meeting Feb. 2 to map out their offseason strategy. “We’ll evaluate our whole team and go through everything with the coaches and get them to rank their players and we’ll go through team needs,” he said.

4. The Broncos still have staff openings at quarterback and outside linebackers. Elway said Fangio is “going to wait a little bit,” on replacing outside linebackers coach Brandon Staley, who became the Los Angeles Rams’ defensive coordinator. Mike Shula, who was Pat Shurmur’s offensive coordinator with the Giants, remains available to potentially be the quarterbacks coach.

5. Elway said running back Phillip Lindsay’s recent wrist surgery was “just a clean-up,” and Lindsay will be ready for the offseason program.

6. Wyoming linebacker Logan Wilson grew up a Broncos fans in Casper, and his favorite player was cornerback Champ Bailey. Wilson had two offers out of high school: Weber State and Wyoming. He stayed instate and finished his career with 421 tackles and 10 interceptions in 52 games. He was a third-team All-American as a senior.

7. Wilson this week is working at middle and weakside linebackers and has a clear goal. “I want to show I can play man-to-man (coverage),” he said. “It’s not something I did a whole lot of at Wyoming, but I want to showcase that ability.”

8. Way back in the day, Tremayne Anchrum prepped at Montbello High and was an all-state football and basketball honoree by The Denver Post. He later played basketball at

USC. Tremayne Jr. is at the Senior Bowl after a four-year career for Clemson.

9. Does Dad still bring up his high school memories? “He’ll never let it go,” Tremayne Jr., said with a laugh. “That’s always going to be a part of him. (Colorado) runs heavy through his veins.” Tremayne Jr., is from Powder Springs, Ga., and he and his father made a visit to Colorado, which extended an offer, but he opted for Clemson.

10. Iowa cornerback Michael Ojemudia is a former teammate of Broncos tight end Noah Fant’s. “Big and fast,” Ojemudia said. “In our conditioning drills, the coaches would have him run with us skill (position) guys, because he was that fast.”
