FORT COLLINS» Bank of Colorado, a community bank with its headquarte­rs in Fort Collins, has signed a marketing agreement with the Colorado Rockies baseball club and has been designated as the official bank of the major-league team through the 2022 season.

“We couldn’t be more excited to extend and deepen our partnershi­p with the Monfort family (owner of the Rockies) and the Colorado Rockies,” Chris Dinsdale, Bank of Colorado’s co-chairman, said in a news release. “Their values (as team owners) are strongly aligned with ours and they’ve been a fantastic partner.”

“It’s important for us to do business with folks you trust, and who have the community’s best interest at heart,” said Shawn Osthoff, the president of Bank of Colorado.

“We’re excited to take another next step in our long-standing tremendous relationsh­ip with the Dinsdale family and Bank of Colorado” said Dick Monfort, chairman and CEO of the Rockies. “We’re thrilled to have Bank of Colorado as a partner of the Rockies for the long term.”

Bank of Colorado, which has locations at 40 sites across the state, recently opened branches in Cherry Creek, Littleton and Boulder.
