The Broncos agreed to a one-year contract with outside linebacker Jeremiah Attaochu on Monday, according to a source.

Attaochu, 27, signed with the Broncos last Oct. 1 after Bradley Chubb suffered a torn ACL. All 12 of his tackles and 3½ sacks came in his last six games. He is expected to be a rotational pass-rusher when subbing for Chubb or Von Miller.

For the season, he played 331 of 1,081 snaps in 12 games (five starts) and had 11½ pass-rush disruptions (sacks/knockdowns/pressures) and 6½ run “stuffs” (gain of 1 or less yards).

Attaochu, who previously played for the Chargers and Jets, spent last year’s training camp with Kansas City before being cut.

Redskins deal for QB Allen, CB Dunbar. WASHINGTON» The Redskins traded for a quarterback coach Ron Rivera is plenty familiar with. Just not that one.

Washington acquired Kyle Allen from the Carolina Panthers for a fifth-round pick and traded cornerback Quinton Dunbar to the Seattle Seahawks for a fifth-round pick, according to a person with knowledge of the moves.

Getting Allen is not as big a splash as getting Cam Newton, but the 24year-old becomes some semblance of competition for 2019 first-round pick Dwayne Haskins. Rivera coached Allen with Carolina the past two seasons before being fired.

Rivera repeatedly praised Allen’s toughness and said, “He doesn’t let things faze him.”

Hoyer, 34, began his career as Brady’s backup in New England in 2009 and has spent time with seven NFL teams during his 11-year career. He had a second stint with the Patriots in 2018 and becomes the third quarterback on New England’s roster, joining Garrett Stidham and Cody Kessler.
