The 16th St. Mall's decline

What’s happening to the 16th Street Mall or should we call it “The Outhouse of Colorado?” As a resident of Denver downtown for more than 25 years, I have seen the transformation of empty buildings and vacant lots to condos, restaurants, and recreation areas.

But the 16th Mall has been left to rot and ruin. Dirty, unsafe to walk and enjoy. Not just the victim of the virus, but the victim of lack of enforcement, control and direction, it is now a highway for bicycles, skateboards and all manner of scooters. Wake up city of Denver officials and clean up our city and make it a place we can enjoy to live!
