‘Almost like single-family living.’ Near Buckley AFB, Anschutz, Meritage readies energy-saving paired homes from $390s,‘all in’

-

s the price of home ownership keeps slipping away, at a moment when interest rates are unbelievably low, Meritage Homes is getting set to open a small collection of its roomy paired-home designs for an infill neighborhood that’s very close to Buckley AFB and its tech campuses; and almost as close to the Anschutz medical campus.

“They’re almost like single-family living,” says Meritage’s Lee Thompson about these new paired-home models with ‘all-in’ prices from the $390s, being readied for a grand opening Saturday, Sept. 19, just west of the intersection of E. Alameda Parkway and E. Mississippi Avenue. That’s a mile from Northrop-Grumman’s Buckley campus, closer still to the base’s Mississippi/Main Gate.

“For anybody who has waited to get out of renting a small apartment, they have to do it now; yesterday is gone,” says Thompson.

AAlong with Travis McKercher, he can show you plans for those new designs at Meritage’s nearby East Creek neighborhood (off E. Alameda just west of Airport Blvd); and can arrange for you to sneak a peek at the actual models, a mile southeast.

From as low as $398,000 (an all-in price that will get you a 3-bedroom home with 1,620 square feet plus a 2-car garage), the paired series is part of Meritage’s LiVE.NOW collection of homes, created to make homeownership simpler and more affordable, while offering the wide-open interiors that the newest single-family homes are showing.

Meritage is also readying a larger 3-bedroom/2-1/2 bath plan, sized at over 2,000 square feet of finished space, with a price in the low $400s (one of those is set for December move-in at $426,675).

Better indoor-air quality

Like all Meritage designs, both paired plans show energy and water conservation features that go way beyond what other popular market builders are doing—using polyurethane insulation that keeps homes warmer in winter, cooler in summer, while providing the highest indoor-air quality standards of any production builder. (Each home gets a MERV 13 high energy particle filter.)

Thompson says you won’t find a better value on space and features anywhere in this area, with its nonfreeway commutes to Buckley and to Anschutz—with singlefamily homes being more expensive; and builders’ multifamily homes running too small.

The way to get involved with these while the best selection is still available is via MeritageHomes.com/Denver, where you can sign onto a VIP list in advance of the grand opening; or set up your choice of a tour—on-site or virtual.
