The Villas also attract sales from buyers who have owned homes for decades, ready to get away from maintenance chores.

Along with the many lessons that have come with the Covid crisis, homebuyers have learned just how important space is—space to spread out indoors, to explore when outdoors. KB Home’s Villas low-maintenance paired homes are all about space, and the builder has watched them disappear rapidly these past months at The Meadows at Castle Rock, where they’re wrapped in parks and miles of trails.

Today you can tour one of the last four that will be built within The Meadows’ master plan, with its two rec centers and an explosion of new dining attractions in walking distance.

Finished basement

Those final four are from $489,500—a real price for one of KB Home’s Willow plans (you can tour a model) that delivers early this summer—two bedrooms, 2-1/2

baths, a loft; over 1,670 sq. feet of finished space plus 2-car attached garage and a private side yard.

One of those paired homes is ready for move-in now—a Walnut plan, 1,883 sq. feet finished, plus another 700 sq. feet of recreation space in a finished basement—an option that’s become much more popular this year, as buyers reach for more finished space, hoping to avoid a future move.

Randy Carpenter, Division President at KB Home Colorado, says that paired homes have been luring first-time and second-time homebuyers escaping rentals; but also buyers who have owned homes for decades in Castle Rock and Highlands Ranch and who are ready to get away from the maintenance chores.

At The Villas, front landscape maintenance comes packaged with snow removal and access to The are within a tenminute walk.

KB Home’s final four homes at The Villas include two 3-bedroom plans ready in AprilMay, at $511,500 and $538,500 (3-1/2 baths).
