Will this be the game when Marquez finally gets right? After holding the Dodgers to one run over seven innings in his first start of the season, Marquez has a 7.05 ERA over his last seven starts. He holds the second-highest ERA among qualified major league starters and has the highest batting average against (.315). The right-hander is 2-3 with an 8.44 ERA in six career starts vs. Washington. The Nationals beat him up on May 3 at Coors Field, scoring eight runs on 10 hits in just five innings in the Nationals’ 10-2 victory.

The veteran Corbin, who used to be one of the best lefties in the National League, continues to struggle. He was saddled with his seventh loss of the season on Saturday, allowing five runs on eight hits over five innings in a loss to Milwaukee. Corbin walked one and struck out three. Washington has lost all nine of Corbin’s starts and has provided him with just 16 runs of support. Corbin lost to Colorado on May 4 at Coors Field, giving up five runs (four earned) on nine hits over eight innings.

Trending: Shortstop Jose Iglesias continues to be the Rockies’ most productive hitter on the road. He was 1-for-4 with an RBI on Wednesday and has reached base in 16 of 18 road games. He’s hitting .400 on the road (26-for- 65).

At issue: Colorado’s bullpen has a 5.09 ERA, worst in the majors. Its 1.45 WHIP is the second-worst.
