5 can’t-miss menus for Restaurant Week
Denver Restaurant Week kicks off today, so it’s time to guilt your friends and family into eating out every night for the next 10 days.
From March 3-12, more than 200 restaurants are offering multi- course menus priced at either $25, $35 or $45. The goal of the week is to help support restaurants during one of the slowest times of the year, but it’s also a chance for people to try out a new place at a discounted price.
Here are five Denver Restaurant Week menus worth drooling over (find all of their menus at denver.org/denver-restaurantweek):
Wild Taco
For $25, Wild Taco is offering a four-course Mexican meal. Dig into Barbed Wire Reef’s little sister restaurant in Cap Hill, which opened last summer, and enjoy some bulgogi nachos, Korean fried tofu tacos, chicken tinga taquitos and a churro stack for dessert. Reserve your spot with Opentable.

Konjo Ethiopian food
If you’ve never had the pleasure of trying Ethiopian food before, Konjo is the perfect place to start. For $35, the fast- casual restaurant in Edgewater Public Market will be serving up three courses. Start off with a mixed greens salad before choosing between the seasoned veggie, chicken or beef tibs combos, all of which come with a side of spongy injera flatbread and your choice of a veggie side, like misir wot, an Ethiopian red lentil staple.

Toro Latin Kitchen & Lounge
If you want to add a bit of spice to your Restaurant Week lineup, try Toro Latin Kitchen & Lounge in Cherry Creek. The $45 pan-Latin menu includes specialties like shrimp and corn enchiladas, pork belly arepas, chimichurri skirt steak and red velvet tres leches cake. Reserve your spot
with Opentable.

Apple Blossom
Apple Blossom’s $ 45 Restaurant Week menu takes you on a trip around the world. The first course options have a bit of a New Orleans theme, offering duck gumbo, crispy eggplant fritters or shrimp chippewa. The second course gives diners the choice to take a trip to Vietnam with the lemongrass pork sausage or Italy with the rigatoni with Colorado lamb Bolognese. And for dessert: a brownie tin roof sundae or citrusearl gray cheesecake.

Ash’kara
Rip, smear and bite through the night with Ash’kara’s $ 45 Mediterranean menu. Guests can choose between four appetizers, like a mezze platter or lamb kofte kabobs, and four main courses, includ
ing pastrami- spiced flank steak or za’atar- spiced chicken. But save room for dessert; there’s baklava, lemon poppy seed cake or a chocolate tahini brownie.
