Wide receiver Calvin Ridley and the Tennessee Titans have agreed on a fouryear, $92 million contract, a person with knowledge of the terms told The Associated Press on Wednesday.

The person, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the deal hasn’t been finalized, said Ridley gets $50 million guaranteed.

Ridley gives young Titans quarterback Will Levis another playmaker. He started all 17 games for the Jaguars last season — his first after missing most of the previous two years because of a broken foot, a mental health break and a yearlong gambling suspension — and finished with 76 receptions for 1,016 yards and eight touchdowns.

The Titans also added a veteran quarterback, agreeing with Mason Rudolph on a one-year contract, another person familiar with the decision told the AP.

Jacksonville owes Atlanta a third-round pick (No. 79 overall) to complete the trade for Ridley.

THE CHIEFS RESTRUCTURE MAHOMES’ CONTRACT>> The Kansas City Chiefs have restructured quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ contract, a person familiar with the decision told The Associated Press on Wednesday, giving the Super Bowl champions some much-needed salary cap space. By restructuring the contract, which would have counted more than $58 million against the cap for the upcoming season, the Chiefs created more than $21 million to use elsewhere. That could include a much-publicized pursuit of help at wide receiver, their need for a new left tackle to protect Mahomes’ blind side, or in re-signing their own free agents.

CARDS, OT JONAH WILLIAMS HAVE DEAL>> The Arizona Cardinals have agreed to a $30 million, two-year contract with offensive tackle Jonah Williams, according to a person familiar with the deal.

The 6-foot-5, 312-pound Williams has started the past four seasons for the Cincinnati Bengals after being selected with the 11th overall pick of the 2019 draft out of Alabama. The person said $19 million of the deal is guaranteed.

RAIDERS RELEASE GAROPPOLO, RENFROW>> The Las Vegas Raiders kicked off the start of the new league year by releasing quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo and receiver Hunter Renfrow to give the new regime more room to operate under the salary cap.

The Raiders also released backup quarterback Brian Hoyer and defensive tackle Jerry Tillery on Wednesday, just minutes after the start of the 2024 league year.

The moves create significant salary cap space for the Raiders to use this offseason as general manager Tom Telesco and coach Antonio Pierce look to build the team into a contender.

DOLPHINS RELEASE XAVIEN HOWARD>> The Miami Dolphins released cornerback Xavien Howard, parting with their longesttenured player.

Howard had 331 tackles and 95 passes deflected in eight seasons with the Dolphins, who selected him at No. 38 in the 2016 NFL draft.

CHARGERS RELEASE WR WILLIAMS TO SAVE $20M>> The Los Angeles Chargers released wide receiver Mike Williams on Wednesday, a move that will free up $20 million in salary cap space.

He played in only three games last season after suffering a torn ACL in his left knee during a Sept. 24 game at Minnesota.

SOURCE: 49ERS ACQUIRE MALIEK COLLINS FROM TEXANS>> The San Francisco 49ers have added more help to their defensive line, agreeing to acquire defensive tackle Maliek Collins in a trade from Houston for a seventh-round draft pick.

KENDRICKS CHANGES MIND AND HEADS TO DALLAS>> A change of heart from Eric Kendricks has helped the Dallas Cowboys fill one of their biggest needs in free agency.
