Comedy: Jo Koy is famous for his many appearance­s on "Chelsea Lately" as a roundtable guest, his many comedy specials on Netflix and Comedy Central and hosting the Golden Globe Awards in 2024. He's also packed theaters and arenas around the world.

Koy will perform on Friday to Sunday at Agua Caliente Resort Casino Spa in Rancho Mirage. The Saturday show is sold-out but tickets are available for Friday and Sunday.

Rock: Over the course of The Mother Hips' lengthy history, the Northern California band has shared stages with Johnny Cash, Wilco, Lucinda Williams and more. The band has earned accolades by Rolling Stone, Pitchfork and The New Yorker. In 2023, The Mother Hips released the album "When We Disappear" featuring a cover of Buffy St. Marie's 1964 song about the perils of addiction, "Codine."

The Mother Hips will perform on Saturday at Pappy and Harriet's.
