For six weeks, Angels Supporting Your Troops has been assembling care packages for soldiers from their new home at The Church of God in Dundalk.

For years, the “Angels” used Sonshine Fellowship Church.

“Pastor Terry Turbin had a vision to build a Christian school, and they needed the building we were using,” founder of Angels Supporting Your Troops, Irene Spatafore, said.

Once Spatafore found out that she would have to relocate, she began reaching out to different establishments.

“I called 22 different places from businesses to churches, to offices — no one would take us on,” Spatatore said.

Eventually, Spatafore got in contact with The Church of God and learned that they had a building that was a former school.

“The Church of God welcomed us and let’s us use two of their classrooms in the building,” Spatafore said.

The “Angels” are still accepting essential supplies and monetary donations to send overseas to United States Troops.

To make a donation, you can contact Irene Spatafore at 410-284-5275 or drop materials off on the picnic table (not the front porch) at 7914 Deihlwood Rd, Dundalk Md. 21222.
