The Enchanted Circle News

From the Desk of Angel Fire Mayor Lindsey

February proved to be a month of challenges and resilience for our community. The month began with an unexpected crisis as we faced issues with the well pump supplying water to residents on Back Basin Road and multiple condo complexes and Resort businesses. The initial replacement of the pump was followed by a series of setbacks, with the pump malfunctioning repeatedly due to cut wires. Concerns deepened as we sought to understand the cause behind these recurring issues.

Mac’s Drilling, tasked with the repairs, took an innovative approach by attempting to raise the pump to a shallower depth to prevent further damage. Unfortunately, this led to an unintended consequence – the pump dislodged, fell to the well's bottom, and caused damage to the casing, which collapsed onto the pump. Despite dedicated efforts to recover it, the pump was deemed irretrievable after two weeks.

In the face of this water crisis, our Public Works Director, Kurt Eppler, and the water department devised alternative plans. Collaborating with Angel Fire Resort and their snowmaking manager Jesse Stocking, we utilized a well and tank designated for snowmaking, successfully tying it into our water system. Although water service to homes, condos, and businesses was interrupted for two days, swift action allowed us to restore water quickly. A boil notice was issued temporarily until safety tests confirmed water quality.

I extend sincere gratitude to all involved in the emergency response and apologize to those affected by the outage. To prevent future disruptions, Bret Wier, Kurt Eppler, and I initiated a plan in January to have backup pumps for all wells. We are actively working on comprehensive backup scenarios for every well in the Village.

Looking ahead, a comprehensive assessment of all wells and tanks by a specialized municipal well and system company is scheduled for the Spring. This assessment identified the need for a new well in the Back Basin system, which we will address promptly. Our goal is to eliminate water outages entirely through systematic assessments and necessary repairs.

Despite these challenges, positive strides were made in various committees throughout February. The Lodgers Tax Committee met twice, progressing swiftly on fund plans. The Workforce Housing Committee convened for the first time, attracting new volunteers. The Fire Adapted Community Committee continues to make excellent progress, and a new comprehensive plan committee is formed, with a March meeting planned. We still seek volunteers for the roads and infrastructure committee.

As we anticipate Spring Break and the conclusion of another remarkable ski season, I am confident in our community's ability to overcome challenges and continue thriving. ■

This just in!!! The headlines are screaming! Read all about it!! A monumental, earth shaking, culturally defining discovery has been made in every archeological dig around the world. In North America, in South America, in Asia, In Europe, in Africa, in Australia and in the Artic. The same thing has been unearthed. Its’ epic, its’ mind boggling and defies all the current cultural trends that go against science. In every single solitary case, the archeologists have only found the remains of males and females. No other gender has EVER, EVER, been found. What should we do with that information??? You decide friends!!! Isn’t that interesting!!

When COVID hit certain people were screaming, “follow the science. Follow the science,” for mask wearing etc. (Numerous serious side-effects are cropping up in scientific studies from those vaccines) Isn’t it ironic that now, for the most part, it’s the same collection of people who are now banging the drums that there are up to 50 genders! That follows no science, has no basis in facts and will just confuse our kids. Let’s get real. Children will, at times, be unhappy with their bodies, with how they look, how they should dress, and even their given names at various times in their lives. 90% of the time they will outgrow it. Some of that can be directly attributed to school bullying, or parents who never affirm, encourage or discipline their kids. Some parents call their kids ugly, stupid, and good for nothing or they try and reason with a 4-year-old!! They probably received the same treatment themselves growing up. But that’s no excuse for bad behavior and poor parenting!

A monumental Moreno Valley shaking announcement is hidden in this article.

We better wake up! This country, the greatest nation in the world is losing its’ way.

We are ignoring our founding fathers moral and ethical compass. If we the people don’t do something about it and stand up for our rights and family values they could very well disappear. Check out these verified reports.

First some good news! Taysir Saadaa former PLO sniper for Yasser Arafat reports that hundreds of Muslims in Gaza have experienced the exact same dreams and visions and manifestations of Jesus and have turned their hearts to the one true God.

Two parents in Indiana warn the nation after their child is removed from their own home for improper pronoun usage: ‘Can happen anywhere’. Did 1000 accomplished English teachers get together and decide for us ignorant folks which pronouns are proper and which are improper for every person on the planet?

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is standing by its decision to oust a 90-year-old volunteer because she “did not understand pronouns.”

Is anybody else sick and tired of this nonsense being jammed down our throats? We can’t drive the kind of car we want, we have to get rid of our gas stoves, we aren’t allowed to raise up and protect our own kids, we allowed almost 3 million illegal immigrants to enter our country in 2023 alone and are bribing them for political gain while us taxpayers foot the bill. ENOUGH!!!

Here is a Moreno Valley shaking announcement!

We’ve heard a pretty credible rumor that a new Spirit filled, cutting edge, vibrant, young adult, modern focused church may be coming to our valley!! We’ll let you know if we hear anything else.

Along those lines; All over this country the Holy Spirit is touching young people in supernatural ways. Recently at a big party school, (Florida State University) hundreds of students got spontaneously baptized in a fountain in the center of the campus after some Christian gatherings. They were collectively and in one accord singing and vocalizing their new found love for God! This is being repeated around the country and the Lord wants to do that here with our young people too! We desperately need the Lord to move on and transform the younger generation! ■
