Prince Ge­orge’s County brings ‘Christ­mas in April’ to res­i­dents in need

Smith’s mother, Hilda Smith, is par­a­lyzed and wheel­chair bound due to a stroke she suf­fered 10 years ago. The re­ha­bil­i­ta­tion project was led by house cap­tain Chief John Weaver, a vol­un­teer fire­fighter with the Capi­tol Heights Vol­un­teer Fire De­part­ment.
