The Enquire-Gazette - - Front Page -

Mrs. Corrine Augustine Inman celebrated “Sunrise” on Jan. 29, 1929. It was on Aug. 23, 2016, that she saw the “Sunset” as she transitioned from her earthly life. She attended school in Washington, D.C., graduating from Armstrong Senior High. She was employed at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, retiring after working there for 32 years. She worked part-time after her government retirement at Douglas Michaels Alternative Mortgage Company for 10 years. She joined The First Baptist Church of Deanwood where she joined several groups, but she is most noted for her participation in the music department. She was an outstanding alto singer for many years as she proudly sang alto in the Sanctuary and Senior Choirs for many years. The services were held Aug. 31 at The First Baptist Church of Deanwood with the Rev. Ronald K. Miner Sr. officiating.

Her children are Melvin R. Inman Sr., Donna Inman Perry and Tracy F. Inman, and she had grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as a host of relatives and friends. Her legacy will live on by many people, her family, neighbors and me, Priscilla F. Jones, because we will always remember her smile, her singing voice and the fellowship and friendship we all shared.
