Hear the legend of the Moll Dyer witch at Surratt House
You are invited to come to the Surratt House for a free event. On Saturday, Oct. 21, at 4 p.m. there will be a chance for you to hear the Legend of Witch Moll Dyer of St. Mary’s County. At the event at 9118 Brandywine Road in Clinton, you may learn something as Lynn Buonviri, the presenter, tells about things that you may discover that actually happened as she talks about searching Moll and her descendants. To see some original artwork from 70-plus artists, with live musical art demos as well as specialty food, wine and beer, you should go to the 29th an- nual Art at the Park, located at 600 Quiet Waters Park Road in Annapolis. This event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 20, and Sunday, Oct. 21, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is a $6 entry fee for each vehicle.
Estate planning seminar
There will be several places nearby on different dates to attend a free estate planning seminar presented by SinclairProsser Law LLC.
They will meet at the Double Tree Hilton Annapolis at 210 Holiday Court on Tuesday, Oct. 23, from 7 until 8:30 p.m., and will serve refreshments.
They will also have a session at The Double Tree Hilton Annapolis on Friday, Oct. 26, from 10 until 11:30 a.m., with a continental breakfast. This location is 210 Holiday Court.
There will also be a seminar at the Crofton Country Club at 1691 Crofton Parkway. There will be refreshments there on Thursday, Oct. 25, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
There will be continental breakfast at the Saturday, Oct. 27, meeting in Bowie which will be at the Comfort Inn at 4500 Crain Highway, from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
There will be a seminar at The Reserve at Two Rivers at 4105 Mountain Road in Pasadena on Wednesday, Oct. 24. There will be a continental breakfast at this seminar that will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
