Ethel L. Red­mond of Leonard­town, MD, went to meet the Lord on May 8, 2018 at the age of 69.

Ethel is pre­de­ceased in death by her fa­ther, Amos A. Holmes; and spouse, Robert M. Red­mond. She is sur­vived by her mother, JoLoyce Holmes; sis­ters: Amy Sim­mers; Jes­sica Holmes; son, Robert E. Red­mond with his wife Mar­i­lyn; daugh­ters: Amy Payne with her hus­band Ge­orge; Jill Cole­man with her hus­band Todd; grand­chil­dren: Jor­rell, Justin, Jade, Nick, Roxy, John, Daniel, Kelsey, Kevin, Rachael, Shannon; as well as her chil­dren’s half-brother, Robert De­marr with wife Deb­o­rah.

Ethel had a huge heart and re­ceived joy from giv­ing to oth­ers. She will al­ways be re­mem­bered and loved by too many to list.

Ethel re­quested not to have a ser­vice and it was im­por­tant she do­nate her body to the Mary­land Anatomy Board. She stated “I will be fas­ci­nat­ing to some med­i­cal stu­dent.”

Ethel has al­ways loved her dogs and was known as the “Dog Wo­man of Hollywood” for years. Stephen Charles Baker, 67, of Me­chan­icsville, MD, passed away May 11, 2018 at his res­i­dence. Stephen was born to the late Charles and Agnes Baker in Wash­ing­ton, DC, on Nov. 17, 1950.

Steve met the love of his life, Anne As­cosi, when they were 15 years old and mar­ried Nov. 15, 1969. For the last 50 years, they have rarely left each other’s side and shared many amaz­ing ad­ven­tures to­gether.

Stephen was pre­de­ceased by his daugh­ter, Tara Theresa Baker. He is sur­vived by his lov­ing wife, Anne Carmel Baker; son, Charles Leonard Baker and wife Heather; daugh­ter, Karen Anne Aud and her hus­band Doug; sis­ter, Mol­lie Co­hee; brother, Pa­trick Baker; his four grand­chil­dren: Gar­ret Baker, Cor­ryn Baker, Reilly Aud and Macken­zie Aud were his great­est joys.
