The area was deeply saddened recently to learn of the loss of a truly fine lady and St. Mary’s resident,

who died at her home in Valley Lee. She was born Aug. 12, 1952, to Lily Sexton and the late Eugene Sexton. I have known Barbara for more

than 30 years and she was always such a wonderful, caring lady. Every time I saw her she was more concerned about how I was then she was about her own health. She always put others first. My deepest sympathy is extended to her mother; her brother, Robert; her sisters, Margie, Mary, Margaret, Louise and Rita; and her other family members and many friends. Barbara was laid to rest in Charles Memorial Gardens, next to her father. Rest in peace, Barbara.
